  • Works well about 70% of the time.

It would be nice if the app would update as a background service (especially the premium) and allow the bulk import of blocked numbers from spam & scam calls I collected before I began using Hiya. - autor:e4G - title:Works well about 70% of the time.

Was great for months. Now useless. Can’t block basic scam. I tried premium; no change. Can’t even block an unknown number. - autor:joannspil - title:Stinks

  • Never works

I don’t know why this app gets 4 1/2 stars. I tried it before, it didn’t work, so I deleted it. Later, in doing research it got all these positive reviews so I installed it again. It has not blocked one scam number. Not one. Useless. - autor:Music-Secretary - title:Never works

  • Its ok!

At first I found this app pretty good. I got virtually no unwanted calls. I’ve now had this app for about 2 years. I am getting 4-6 calls a day. All from my area code. This app is no longer effective. - autor:md1705 - title:Its ok!

  • App is ok but they miss too many calls now (unlike before )

This used to be a great app and five stars. The app is actually flawless but the inability to catch calls like it used to is what’s wrong. When I used the free version for over two years it was actually very good. Things have simply evolved to where even the paid version that I now have just misses too many. Nine out of ten spam calls get through. It used to be one in ten. So while the app itself works and is a five star easy to use app the times have caught up and outran the company. There must be something that spammers are now doing that is causing the crowd sourced app to now fail. - autor:who is John Gault - title:App is ok but they miss too many calls now (unlike before )

Started out identifying the number as spam. Now wants me to update to premium to identify further. Don’t recommend it. - autor:Michpa 2 - title:Poor App

My company’s IT department recommended this app to deal with spam calls. I downloaded it (the free version) on both my personal and company iPhones. It literally does nothing. I still receive spam calls daily. None are blocked or flagged by the app as being potentially spam or telemarketers. The number lookup feature doesn’t provide any information on who owns the number. - autor:Beat Navy! - title:It’s useless. At least the free iOS version is
