  • Doesn’t Function as Advertised

Don’t waste your money on this garbage. I’ve tried applying many of the modifications listed for the Audi S3 and only a few of them work. I’d highly recommend OBDEleven over this. At least the functions listed for that app actually work and you don’t have to pay an absurd 39.99 for a years worth of garbage. - autor:XtoEvolution - title:Doesn’t Function as Advertised

  • Too Expensive!

    By 1
As a (former) retail software developer, I understand why devs are moving toward subscription models. But $40/year is too expensive for what is generally an infrequently-used, casual-use app. None of the other apps I subscribe to, like RoboKiller and Overcast to name just two, cost anywhere near as much and I use them *far more often*. Overcast could quadruple its subscription and I’d still pay it because I use it heavily – hours per week. Its use:cost ratio is very favorable. But Carista, not so much. I’d probably use this a few times per year, that’s all. Very unfavorable use:cost ratio. Carista, as I understand, already discourages commercial use and “oversharing” by limiting the number of vehicles (by VIN) that can be tweaked. I’m fine with that. I just want to tweak our two cars, that’s all. But I want to revisit my tweaks occasionally. Offer a $10 or $15(tops) per year sub and I’m pretty sure the developer will see many more annual subs. I would sub for that. $40 is a lot for a seldom-used app. $10 or $15 isn’t. And I will not pay $10 for one week, either. That math is even worse. - autor:rkricketts - title:Too Expensive!

  • Worked great on Audi Q5

    By 5
Needed to reset my service due message after changing oil. Did the job. I cleared some fault codes and did a little customization. No problems. Easy to use. I did the one week payment as I wanted to support the company. Good job Carista! - autor:Moja Fan - title:Worked great on Audi Q5

  • Bad pricing, find something else

    By 1
The app is used to be free for code failures check and Pro version for configuring the car, which makes sense, but now they don’t even let you see the error codes, so free version does nothing. I bought it when the pricing was different and would return their proprietary dongle if I could. - autor:notTakenNickname007 - title:Bad pricing, find something else

  • Overpriced!

    By 1
$10 for a week or $40 for a year? How did you come up with this? Many options didn’t work on my Audi. DO NOT buy the app until he fixes the pricing issue. - autor:Bpobill - title:Overpriced!

  • works fine at diagnostics for older car but

    By 4
The app works fine when I want to diagnose check engine light codes on my 10 year old Hyundai - I wish it would keep a record of the recent history of thrown codes, if it has this feature I couldn't find it. Would be helpful to have that information stored to show a history of issues to the mechanic. - autor:geminifab - title:works fine at diagnostics for older car but

  • Vag450

Where to start? It’s difficult to just check the app without having to think in the rest of the things involved in the app itself. The idea of having a obd2 in a smartphone is fantastic “idea” you know! to have a multi-tool handy in the reach of your pocket and all. However for several years now, developers use enthusiast people, and professionals technicians feedback to develop functional app’s. In this particular case, which at the beginning was a win-win situation for developers and customers, where many bugs were solved and new ideas brought forward however, as soon as developers had a stable version they forgot about the enthusiastic average person or the professional technicians and money comes first. This monthly subscription has been rude towards all of us that make this app possible. We the people! We never forget and the same way we help to build empires like Sears. We can choose not to be part of it anymore! Different alternatives coexist. A real Vag Scanner such as the VS450 will do most of the things this app offer for $30 US Dollar easily found In the amazing Amazon. So again what is the purpose of an app? - autor:Common application - title:Vag450
