Can’t play a subscription I’ve paid for. No help in sight. Is it possible to give less than one star. - autor:Notk8 - title:Useless instructions

  • Full screen viewing

I am using an iPad Pro and am not able to view programming on the full screen. It is very distracting to have the clutter above and below the shows. Also, where is the volume control? I so appreciate the programming you offer, however, would like to see complete seasons, i.e., Vera and Doc Martin. Please continue to make improvements to make viewing easier and consistent. - autor:.,poiywq - title:Full screen viewing

  • Truly Pathetic

While their BBC content is very good, the folks who are delivering this service are really inept. More often than not, the service is not available because they won’t recognize their sign in procedures. And customer service contacts are not readily available. A shame. - autor:JFB On Apple - title:Truly Pathetic

  • I love this app.

I don’t understand why people don’t like this app. I love it. I watch it all the time. I’ve no problems with it going right into the next episode. I find it easy to use and navigate. I love the shows and I love the app! - autor:inluvwithtunes - title:I love this app.

  • Known problem with Apple

Cancel ASAP. Do not cancel thru Apple. Acorn will lie to you and say you must do it thru Apple. THAT IS A LIE. Call the number below. Keep calling. They will try lying and say it isn’t the correct number. NONE OF THE PHONE NUMBERS ONLINE ARE CORRECT. Call 844-734-8466. After speaking to multiple reps (difficult since it cuts you off), I learn Apple products often won’t work. They said it had JUST happened but their own website had a different story. Did they offer me a prorated refund for no service? No of course not. Run away. Something is wrong at this company. If you complain on FB and write to the CEO in London, they will actually fall all over themselves. Too little too late. Oh and if you read other reviews like Sitejabber, they are slammed there with the same issues. - autor:Classicrun - title:Known problem with Apple

  • Acorn TV worst customer service ever

    By 1
Acorn TV took 5 days to respond to me. Unacceptably slow. They have no toll free number that I could locate nor did they provide one when I asked. Acorn TV Customer service would rate a zero if it were an option. I want my money back - autor:ghdrgs - title:Acorn TV worst customer service ever

  • Best shows worst apps

    By 1
Acorn TV has the best shows BUT the worst costumer experience. We cast our show to a Chromecast device and I have the iOS app, the Android app on a tablet and the Amazon fire stick app for Acorn. My wife is deaf so we need closed captioning and it seems like every other month the CC does not work on iOS and Android and on Amazon the app keeps stopping and crashing. Customer service is only through email and responses take days if not longer. And when they respond they give you canned responses like reinstall the app or say they are having a problem with Android when you are writing about a problem with iOS app. At the moment the CC has not been working on the iOS app (when casting) for 3 weeks+ and they keep responding they are working on the Android app. This experience is not the first time. Was out for multiple platforms for a month or so back in Sept. Terrible!!! I really wish they could get their act together. - autor:TBehr1452 - title:Best shows worst apps

  • Unable to sign on

Were using this app, primarily on the Apple TV but occasionally on our iPads. Now, when I go to use it on my new iPad Pro it asked me to update my email and password but when I enter the correct credentials I get an error display saying it couldn’t update my profile. So I’m unable to use this app and service on one of my devices. Update: I finally figured out the issue. Apparently my new iPad restore had something to do with the Acorn TV app profile update issue. I ended up signing out of the app and signed back in and it’s working. Upgrading my rating back to 4 stars. - autor:wkrueger - title:Unable to sign on

  • Doesn’t have any really British TV

    By 1
I am British, living in the US, and have only heard of 2 shows in this app! It’s full of outdated or terrible content that no one in the UK actually watches. Do a deal with the BBC or Channel 4 to get some new, relevant content! This content is not worth paying for! - autor:Aspi2012 - title:Doesn’t have any really British TV
