Ok, I absolutely LOVED hopscotch before, but now everyone is role playing and and pretending to be new and saying one of their parents is dead and the other abuses them and they always get bullied. that kind of thing. Also the debs keep bugging me with notifications and I absolutely HATE it. I hope you make the right choice and try it out, because it's cool and I love it, don't get wrong, but don't commit yourself instantly. - autor:QKGLH - title:Read before downloading!

  • A few suggestions

Okay so overall this is a great app for coders and ?artists? I’m a good artist and semi good coder but when I post things it never gets on Trending can you try getting not just the popular hopscotchers on Trending and other people like me. You should add comments so then we can simply comment stuff like nice code! Or any suggestions to make their code more feature worthy. You should also make some art challenges some of the artists will like that! But please my main thing I really want added in the future to improve this app is comments, Thanks! It’s a good game for beginners in coding so you should get it if your kid wants to code. It comes with videos that help you, and all kinds of stuff! It has a upgrade that you can buy for $9.99 a month it helps you more, more videos, and more accessories too! So get it I review 5/5 stars! - autor:Zachary Berg - title:Hopscotch Review

  • Two problems

    By 5
Okay. So, about four years ago, when I first downloaded Hopscotch, I was thrilled. Am I still am with it. It’s super fun, allows you to create anything you can imagine, and is super educational in a fun way! There are a few flaws that are bothering me though. 1. To create an account, you need a parent to try the subscription. When you open Hopscotch for the first time, it says you need a parent. This is not much of a problem. The problem is parents might think this is a paid app posing as a free app. I’m not saying this was done on purpose. I’m just saying the app and the features as opposed to a free version could have been shown better. 2. Account management. I had Hopscotch on both my iPad and my iPhone. And a year or so ago, to free up space on my iPhone, I deleted Hopscotch. When I had a coding idea sometime after, I had to redownload the app on my phone (which was faster than my iPad). The only problem was, I couldn’t remember the password. And I couldn’t retrieve it either. You can’t see it in the app and the email address I used then I don’t use anymore. So I am a bit forced to play it on my (slow) iPad Mini. As I said, these aren’t really infuriating me. Just rather annoying me. Thanks for reading. -Coder and reviewer, Stonley890™ P.S. I still highly recommend Hopscotch! EDIT: Minor problem. So, on my iPad, I have the subscription features. Even though I’m not subscribed. Like drawing objects and photos. But for some strange reason, not custom avatar. Why is this? And how? - autor:Stonley890 - title:Two problems

I think the subscriptions ruined this app. When you download it, it won't let you do anything without subscribing, or having a one week trial. At this point, most people decide just to not even try to do anything with this app, which is sad, because it is amazing, and extremely fun. I think subscriptions should contain more, but be optional, and by having more, I don't mean taking away from the game already, and saying "oh, well these characters, or features are for subscribers only. - autor:Ninetailwolf - title:A Comment.

  • Why?

    By 1
Just a quick question- Why do we have to pay to get in this app? I used to use this app all the time, now it makes you pay? I don’t waste real money for my phone or an app. I USED to have so much fun with this app. I don’t understand. I played this then got rid of it, got it again TODAY, and it makes me pay!? I’m so confused. I know that some apps make you pay but I can find other coding apps that don’t. I feel like this isn’t worth it if you want to pay for it. Some people think it is and I respect that, but I am on the opposite side. Please fix this concept. I’m disappointed. Unsatisfied. Thanks for the experience when I was years younger and didn’t know what I was doing. - autor:AMPblue - title:Why?

Best game in the history of the world! But I have a few suggestions- you have a favorites list, why not a list of who you follow and who follows you? I bet the Hopscotch Team would have the longest followers list! I also think you should add goals. So like if you complete one goal, then you’d get like, the winter character set or something of the sort. Also, please please PLEASE fix the glitch where the published picture is just the corner! It’s especially hard with art pads! I don’t quite understand any of the yellow code blocks... if you could explain those to me through hopscotch or this note, that would be extraordinary! And also, (forgot to mention this) I saw a few projects where people said curse words- I reported them, and I think that you should not allow any words like that, so I think you should make your own keyboard that doesn’t let those kinds of words pass! Tysm for your time and I hope you keep making great games! - autor:Fox🦊Face - title:AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

I had a blast using this app in seventh grade (2017). You were able to create your own account without paying. I recently wanted to come back to using this app to be disappointed. I wanted to let my youngest brother try it but you need to give your credit card information to even try it out?!?! I just am not going to bother with this app anymore. Based on the other reviews, I am very discouraged to even bother. I thought coding was for everyone (I heard that you need to pay to even unlock tutorials!!!) but guess they decided that money was more important than for users to understand how the app works. - autor:Lana Yuna - title:Was good two years ago
