  • Just crashes

The old RV Park Reviews app wasn’t anything fancy, but it was functional. The new app just crashes while loading. - autor:tarrytopia - title:Just crashes

  • Not as good

    By 3
Used to use RV Park Reviews a lot to find a campground while traveling. Since they changed to this site cannot filter by Big Rig access without purchasing subscription. Also not near as easy to use to find sites. No happy with change. - autor:Pwdorris - title:Not as good

You are paying your developer way to much money. We are RVers. You should hire someone who actually has an RV and understands what we are looking for without all the BS. - autor:jimrmoore - title:Almost unusable

  • Not iPad Landscape Friendly

    By 1
I tried to use this in conjunction with my primary RV Trip planner (the web based subscription site by the same company), but the APP does not display in landscape position and is thus, so far, not useable with my iPad keyboard device and my workflow (most of which are landscape position based). As far as the other features of the APP, I never got that far and will not use it, (staying with their web based reviews). - autor:Continuous Crashes - title:Not iPad Landscape Friendly

  • Beware of good reviews and accommodations!

    By 3
This is a long article but I think worth reading! This is our first year snow birding. It’s an exciting thought getting to enjoy your senior years traveling and being in warmer weather. Hundreds of thousands RV’s head off on an adventure, some only for a few months and some sell everything and pack what they can fit into space available. Being our first time I carefully chose the 4 and 5 star businesses. Relying heavily on those experienced travelers before me. So here goes! FRIENDLY STAFF. They want your money, generally speaking, YES! They are nice at first. This place, DON’T DISRUPT THEIR DAY! Not just our opinion, but others have told us. The manager is RUDE! Not realizing we were breaking a rule she confronted us outside our RV in the street, yelling at us in front of multiple people. She barked out question and accusations without a chance for us to defend ourselves. The next day I went to the office to calmly talk to her. Again, when I politely asked if we could talk, she was barking away at me and I couldn’t get a word in. A man came in and she rudely told, not ask, but told him to get out! I was shocked! This was a tenant, an adult. REALLY? She accused our service dog of pooping all over the park and we didn’t clean it up. ( My husband is anal about cleaning up after his dog. He is a true, faithful and responsible owner.) She also said a pile of dirt is dangerous for my 5 year old to play in. ???. That I don’t care about him, (she stated she tells people this). That he rides his scooter and dodges in front of cars. (5 mph) Yes! We know and are teaching him about it. (He has been hanging around his older brother and sister, apparently they aren’t watching him close enough). I tried to get a word in and finally after repeatedly asking if I could talk, she stopped, said yes and began working on her computer. I said, YOUR RUDE! and I demonstrated how she was being rude. Well anyway. She said, “one more problem with my 5 year old or our service dog and we would immediately be evicted”! I will tell you, she did one time tell us my 5 year old, road his scooter around the pool. He received a spanking and a grounding to our RV for 7 days. He had been warned about it. She doesn’t even know her own park rules! She said “in the park rules it says kids under 14 must be with an adult at all times”. I did not remember that but looked it up later and it is under 10! My other kids are 10 and 12. All of her ranting came down to “the 5 year old must be by my side at all times and clean up after our dog!” Whoa! 90% of the RVers have dogs. We p u all dog poop we see! Hmmm? We might need DNA proof! I am going to mention the roads here, we are talking about dangers in the park, let’s see, I can name a few! Construction site not fenced off, roads have huge pot holes which are easy to trip a child or elderly person. (Have to walk on road, no sidewalk), pile of dirt should be fenced off. (dirt is boy magnet) pool should have code lock that adults have access to and smaller children can not open gate so easy! Translation to rules: 1. Kid Friendly = kids allowed in park but must not leave RV. NO ACCOMMODATIONS FOR KIDS! That’s right! No riding bikes or scooters on roads, no area for kids to play, no kids on other sites, other kids emerge and hang out at our RV and that is called “running the park”. All of these kids “are good kids”. NO PLACE TO PLAY! 2. Dog parks! COOL! .....Hum? At first sight, nice area for a few dogs to play. Then it rains, I love rain. But the dog park becomes 1/2 mud and 1/2 grass. They do provide doggie bags and trash can with a couple benches, Once you get past the mud puddle! Please Add some gravel to allow two legged people to get in the gate. Oh, I almost forgot about Service dogs! Jealousy is rampant! Here is where it gets really sad! I realize people take advantage. But who are you to judge! Generally YOU don’t understand why. (Just Ask!) You as a business are allowed to ask what does your service dog do? PTSD dogs are allowed to be with out leash to scout the area for that handler. These dogs are highly trained by professionals to recognize and divert perceived threats by calling attention to themselves and lowering the anxiety of the handler, or allowing him to escape. In public building handlers generally put them on a leash when they enter but can send the dog in ahead to check the area before the handler arrives. Good gravy people! This dog can save your life to! Think about it! 3. Concrete pads! Yea! Two pads per site. Yea! WAIT A MINUTE. Seriously? 1-2 feet between sites! Are you kidding me? Pads are just wide enough to accommodate 1 RV, no slide outs and a small vehicle on second pad. I have to give credit to these guys as they don’t pack every site. Many are empty and They allow your vehicle to park on empty sites so there is room for a few outdoor chairs beside your RV. So, imagine if every site was full with 36-40’ Class A’s with 3 or 4 slides, It would be literally slide touching slide. HOW COZY! Open your window, tap on theirs, “Hi, can I borrow a cup of sugar?” Flies cannot squeeze in. LOL. 5. POOL. Small outdoor, unheated pool with fountain. Large enough for small back yard party. Open all year. Unless they choose to paddle lock it to keep my kids from using it. Nice! My kids swim better then most adults and have passed the Red Cross swim classes. We are present they are swimming. 4. Cable. But no cable 5. WIFI. 1-5. I would give it a 4. 6. Pier. Nice pier with a small fish cleaning station. 7. Activities. Yes they have a nice community/club house with plenty of activities. I gave them a 3 due to their manager! In my opinion most positive reviews for this place come from campers who stay less then one week. MANAGERS MAKE OR BREAK A PARK! In conclusion....THIS IS NOT WHAT IS ADVERTISED! ANDNO KID FRIENDLY. Obviously others have had the same experience because their kids NEVER come out to play. - autor:ancient ruins - title:Beware of good reviews and accommodations!

  • Amazing how much you could mess up a good thing

    By 1
I was trying to get info on parks in Florida while I am in the Northeast all it gives me access to is local parks. Well that’s useless, thank goodness for AllStays. Well on the bright side I got more space on my IPad by deleting this app. - autor:vanslam - title:Amazing how much you could mess up a good thing

  • RV Park Reviews ruined

    By 1
The old RVPark Reviews was easy to use. We don’t need all the “for you” maps and info. Trying to find parks in a certain area has a learning curve - can only get there at the bottom of the filters pages. I’ll use it but not pleased with the changes. - autor:why hanges - title:RV Park Reviews ruined

  • Was decent, now I can’t use it.

With the last update, the map constantly jumps, zooms and moves. It doesn’t stop. I can’t select and area and stay in one spot when trying to find campgrounds. It’s currently useless. - autor:Njdisney414 - title:Was decent, now I can’t use it.
